Bradley is urging small businesses across Bromsgrove and the Villages to submit their nominations for his second annual Small Business Awards.
Ahead of this year’s Small Business Saturday on December 6th, Bradley is once again celebrating the contribution small businesses make to our economy and to our communities.
Returning for a second year, the local MP’s business awards will see residents vote for their favourite local small business in Bromsgrove and the Villages in the build up to Small Business Saturday.
Last year, 1,992 votes were cast by local residents and Casa Med, a family-run Mediterranean tapas restaurant in Bromsgrove town centre, and JJ’s Café, an independently owned café in Hollywood, were revealed as joint winners after receiving the same number of votes.
SJP Theatre Arts, a Bromsgrove theatre school, secured 2nd place and Bremi’s, an independent coffee shop and bar in Aston Fields, clinched 3rd place.
To be in with a chance of being crowned this year’s winners, from today (October 6th), small businesses across the constituency can put themselves forward for the public vote by submitting their nomination by clicking here.
Once nominations close on Thursday, October 30th, residents will then be able to vote for their favourite small business. Bradley will then reveal the winners ahead of Small Business Saturday.
Bradley said:
“After the huge success of my inaugural Small Business Awards, I’m thrilled to announce that they’re back for another year!
“It’s another opportunity to champion our small businesses at what remains a challenging time. Small businesses aren’t just the backbone of our economy, they’re also at the heart of their communities.
“I’m once again encouraging small businesses across Bromsgrove and the Villages to put themselves forward for the public vote to be in with a chance of winning a Small Business Award.
“I’m looking forward to receiving your nominations and to celebrating our small businesses.”
