Bradley said:
"In the past two days I have been subjected to the vilest abuse on social media I have experienced in the two years since I’ve been the MP for Bromsgrove and the Villages.
"Now, whilst most of the abuse is coming from people who don’t actually live in our constituency, I’d suggest that anyone who is abusive online pauses to reflect on their language.
"I’m always happy to be held to account for how I’ve voted and for my views but subjecting me and my hard-working team to the most appalling and inappropriate language is not how we should be doing politics in this country.
"I make myself as accessible as possible on social media. I respond to comments and messages, and I post about the work I’m doing and how I’ve voted in Parliament. That’s how it should be. I’m your voice in Westminster and it’s only right that you’re kept up-to-date with what I’m doing.
"Please continue to challenge how I’ve voted and my views, but let’s do politics better and do so in a respectful way. I will not hesitate to block those who are abusive."
