Bradley has praised Waseley Hills High School’s “huge improvement journey” following a visit to the Rubery school.
The local MP met with Principal Tom Preston on his recent visit where they discussed the school being taken from ‘requires improvement’ to now being rated as ‘Good’ in all areas by Ofsted.
During his visit, Bradley was also taken on a tour of the school which is being completely rebuilt as part of the previous government's School Rebuilding Programme.
In 2021, Waseley Hills was announced as one of just 50 schools across the country to benefit from the initial roll-out of the previous government's £1 billion investment.
Bradley said:
“Waseley Hills High School has been on a huge improvement journey in recent years. Well done to Principal Tom Preston and all the teaching staff. It was inspiring to meet with Tom to hear first-hand about the journey the school has been on and his vision for the future.
“Education is fundamental to improving life chances, and every child and young person in Bromsgrove and the Villages deserves access to a first-class education. I'm determined to ensure our schools have the resources they need to achieve this.”
