Bradley has met with a Bromsgrove mental health campaigner as part of his work to improve services for local residents.

19 year-old Paddy Crump is a campaigner for YoungMinds, the UK’s leading mental health charity for young people, and he first met Bradley during the general election campaign.

Bradley promised him they would meet again should he be elected, and he recently kept that promise when they met once again to discuss how mental health services can be improved in Bromsgrove and the Villages.

They were joined at the meeting by Cllr Karen May, Leader of Bromsgrove District Council.

Bradley said:

“It was great to meet with Paddy once again to discuss how we can improve mental health services here in Bromsgrove and the Villages.

“I hugely admire how open and brave Paddy was in sharing his story about his mental health. Paddy wants to use his own experiences to help others and to campaign for better mental health support and understanding.

“I'm committed to working with Paddy to ensure people who are suffering with their mental health get the help and support they need.”

Paddy Crump added:

“I was really pleased to meet Bradley and Karen May for a meeting about mental health.

“From our meeting, I could tell Bradley is passionate about helping those who are struggling with their mental health and supporting me in my campaigning.

“It’s clear he understands the current mental health crisis and is committed to addressing the root causes of it, both locally in Bromsgrove and nationally.”
