    Ever since I was first elected, I have been fighting to protect our precious greenbelt. Our area is 89% greenbelt and the countryside underpins our identity.I will only support development in the right locations, designed to the highest standards and on brownfield land first.

  • Boosting Local Jobs, Training and Skills

    Local businesses drive our economic prosperity. As your MP, I will use my experience in energy and manufacturing to support local businesses who provide jobs and training opportunities for local people.

  • Increased Police Patrols and Reducing Crime

    I regularly raise local policing issues in Parliament and with our local police force. I’m campaigning for additional police patrols, a crackdown on both anti-social behaviour and illegal retail activity, plus a new focus on rural crime prevention.
