Local businesses drive our economic prosperity. As your MP, I will use my experience in energy and manufacturing to support local businesses who provide jobs and training opportunities for local people. This includes increasing vocational skills and creating apprenticeships that will deliver new economic security for local families.

In 2025 I held my first ever Jobs Fair to connect local businesses with local residents. More than 40 national and local employers, recruiters and charities attended.
